May we introduce ourselves, Barbara & Erik.
With our incredible story of travels, the many trips and the ups and downs that have brought us to where we are now. After 30 years we found each other again. Erik started out in the distant Caribbean, on the small island of Curaçao, and is now a photographer in Amsterdam, while Barbara was born and raised in Hundsangen, Germany. You could say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree there! Through our shared philosophy, we have friends in Altendiez, where we never met, except for that one time in 1991. Thanks to LinkedIn, however, we met again in September 2021. Barbara with her Rausch language school in Hundsangen and I, Erik with the Studio Berkhout photography studio in Amsterdam. Our love of nature, travelling, philosophising and cooking has led to our shared passions merging into a special combination of entrepreneurship and enjoyment. All together, it makes for a special taste experience. We invite you to experience this in our soon-to-be-opened multi-purpose building Munditia. Every month, the topics will take you to different European countries. We are now waiting for developments in Amsterdam and the start of the renovation of our beautiful ‘old lady’ opposite the church of Hundsangen. We hope to be able to open the doors of this old farmhouse, home of Johann Tripp, known as Schoustersch, to you in June 2026. Until then, you can get to know Bella's Feinkost, a traditional way of making local and non-local fruit products that we process into jams and syrups ourselves. You can already familiarise yourself with the various products we offer at Munditia Feinkost on our website. We also sell a special selection of sparkling wines and a variety of wines, from white to rosé to red, for every occasion. With our mobile sparkling wine bar and our ovens, we can present something special in almost any location and enrich your event or party with an unforgettable taste experience.
